COURSES FOR SECTOR TECHNICIANS
Course Objectives:
Increase the level of road safety and accident prevention.
Update knowledge for the fulfilment of legal obligations.
Spread a common culture of road safety thanks to the correct interpretation of the rules.
COURSES FOR CHILDREN
Course Objectives:
Increase the level of road safety and accident prevention.
Stimulate the sense of individual and collective responsibility in children.
Protect the categories of “weak users” of the road (including pedestrians and cyclists).
Raise awareness among parents and teachers on road safety and on the transmission of principles.
COURSES FOR SECTOR TECHNICIANS
TRAINING COURSE FOR FULFILMENT MINISTERIAL DECREE 4 MARCH 2013
Subject:
training courses for the implementation and management of temporary road signs for work carried out in the presence of vehicular traffic (fulfillment Ministerial Decree 4 March 2013) for supervisors and workers.
Regulatory reference: on 19 April 2013, Interministerial Decree of 4 March 2013 entered into force, published in Official Gazette no. 67 of 20 March 2013, which provides for the general safety criteria relating to procedures for the revision, integration and affixing of road signs for work activities that take place in the presence of vehicular traffic.
The training offer includes:
1 Training course for operators (duration 8 hours of which 4 theory and 4 practical tests);
2 Training course for worker supervisors (duration 12 hours of which 8 theory and 4 practical tests).
Topics covered include the road site environment, risks for health and safety associated with the application and removal of temporary road signs, concrete cases of non-safety on road sites, as well as all relevant regulations. The technical material necessary for the courses and practical tests is provided as support.
ROAD EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN
TRAINING COURSE FOR SCHOOLS
Subject: Educational and recreational activities for road education aimed at children attending preschools and/or primary schools. Training objectives: The road safety education activity aims to raise awareness of the rules regulating the road environment. Delivery methods: Activities can be organized in schools or in other dedicated spaces (ex. theatres/libraries). Teachers: The courses are taught by highly qualified people who are constantly engaged in the education of the new generations.
Contents:
The education path is divided into two cycles, each of which involves the use of specific contents and teaching activities:
• Cycle 1 “The road and pedestrians”
• Cycle 2 “The bicycle and related rules”
• Cycle 3 “Getting around safely”
Participants will be given a book for the in-depth study of the “Road Safety” issues addressed during the course and will be given posters, gadgets, and games upon passing the final exam.
